In addition to the worldwide distribution of technically advanced products, we are also the go-to address for repair and overhaul orders for complex process engineering systems in the region.

Since our foundation, we have stood for innovation and quality. Our vision includes the holistic, material or energetic utilization of renewable resources and residues. Our business activities should benefit the environment, the current society as well as future generations. Our most important milestones: 


1971 - 1985

1971 The K. Gisiger-Technik company was founded in Messen, Switzerland.

1974  The first hammer mill for grain was successfully launched on the market.

1978 Further development of the hammer mill into a universal fraction mill for processing wood. Often used as an alternative to knife ring flakers due to the higher economic efficiency and consistency of the end product over the entire operating time.

1985 Development of the first knifeless chipper for the production of fibrous and long wood particles. Thanks to the longer wood particles, you get an ideal input product for the production of particleboard.


1988 - 1998

1988 Development of the double trough glue blender. The fibrous and long particles were unfortunately broken and smoothened in the glue blenders  used in that time. Gisiger Technik therefore developed the particle-protecting double trough glue blender to maintain the quality of the particles.

1991 Development of the first chipper for recycled wood which produces cleanable chips and is largely unaffected by fragments like metal, stone etc.

1998 Development of sorting machines for continuous cleaning and sorting of recycled materials e.g. wood that is contaminated with textiles and cannot be processed with normal screens.

2004 - 2022

2004 Due to a restructuring of the management, Gisiger Technik became the present company GT Zesor AG. Until today, the "Gisiger" machines for the energetic processing of wood and other renewable raw and residual materials are further developed and refined.

2010 Construction and opening of the new production and assembly site in Grafenried. The expansion of the production area was in response to the increasing demand for the products of GT Zesor AG.

2013 With the redesign of the successful product line of the universal fraction mill, the foundation was set to still be one step ahead of the market requirements.

2021 Handover of the management to the third generation. The story of GT Zesor AG continues.

  • Residual wood from forestry and wood processing into boards, moldings, fuel chips and heating pellets

Hammer mill - USZ 

The universal fraction mill (USZ) has a wide range of applications. Due to the interaction of impact tool, impact plates and separating screens, the wood is chipped parallel to the fibers with a low coefficient of friction. The size of the chips is defined by the screens.

  • Suitable for wood digestion wet and dry
  • Suitable for very wet wood, up to 150% atro
  • Extremely easy to maintain and handle
  • Additional equipment such as dosing silo, heavy material separator, magnetic box, base frame, discharge screw etc. available from own production
  • Capacity: up to 20 t atro/h
  • Powertrain: up to 710 kW

SHREDDER - HZ

As a result of the fiber-parallel digestion, fiber chips of a large degree of slenderness are produced. These high-quality fiber chips are excellently suited for further digestion or, depending on the application, can be used directly.

  • For the production of extremely long fiber chips
  • Significantly lower maintenance costs per ton of processed material compared to knives
  • Suitable for the production of particleboard
  • Capacity: up to 50 t/h
  • Powertrain: up to 1000 kW

 

Double trough Glue Blender

Blender- M

For gluing medium layer chips for construction board all the way to fine chips for the top layer of particle board. Equal and chip-protecting distribution of the glue on the chips. Optimal re-mixing of the chip mass so that a homogeneous and constant chip mixture can be delivered.

  • Minimum glue consumption
  • Wide range of adjustment possibilities
  • High availability with minimum required cleaning and maintenance downtime.

DISC Screen

FOR COARSE AND FINE SORTING

Unaffected by contaminated material. Suitable for recycled wood with metallic impurities.

Gravity Separator

PNEUMATIC Gravity SEPARATOR - PSA 

For the extraction of heavy particles in the manufacturing process. For improved protection of the machine. The difference in density of the materials separates unwanted particles from the good material.
